If you’ve recently used our publisher app and used the “forgot your password” functionality, the email with the password reset link probably would’ve reached you hours after the link is made stale. There was a configuration problem that caused outgoing mails from our server to get quarantined in the delivery queue, making it behave seem more like snail mail. The good news, it’s now solved! System–generated email should now be in your mailbox in a minute or so, and you can act on them promptly.

We will be rolling more changes to our publisher tool soon to give you more details on your site and campaigns and yes — we will be sending out a batch of checks in the next few days!

But when a child struggles academically or socially, many schools automatically, as a matter of policy, attribute the poor performance to defects in that student’s intellect, study skills, upbringing or family life.

To be sure, there are times when those issues are justified, but it is interesting that the school will inevitably leave itself out of the equation.

Can a school contribute to a child’s failure?

Certainly the answer is yes.

That was it - a little experiment we did at Red Box Greenbelt 3, the official sponsor for Blog Bank publisher gatherings where instead of hooking up to the mic, we hooked up an RCA adaptor to the flatscreen to play Wii from 6 PM till midnight. Such are some of the crazy things we do with our publishers, and yeah gaming at what seems to be a karaoke place takes Red Box to a whole new level. It’s the living room we wish we had

Thanks to Mon Macutay and the rest of Level Up for joining us and giving away their games! Also many thanks to Anna Dimerin and Jared De Guzman of Alpha Mints for giving away those sexy sexy mints! Anna informed me that they will be running a contest for their mint brand and if you’re a blogger you’d know the value of offline link marketing. Imagine your URL printed on the next batch of mints sold everywhere!

Want to see your name on the next batch of Alpha Mints?

If you think you’re worth listening to, then email us your SHOUTOUTS at experiences at alphamints dot com. It may be anything – as long as it’s concise, witty, and of course, personal.

We are going to be printing the best 100 quotes on our next batch of packaging, along with two brand new variants which will be revealed in July. You may check out the website from time to time for developments.

Thanks Anna!

Also, a huge congratulations to the 8 publishers who received cheques this month. For those whose names were called but could not show, we will be contacting you and sending your cheques very soon.

We’re very sorry.

As you may know, we have an upcoming BlogBank event for our publishers and fellow bloggers this coming week. And because we were very much aware that many of our publishers somehow wanted some stats and details regarding the previously concluded campaigns, we planned to get the numbers out before our event so we could issue checks on the day we all party.

Our online reports and notifications tools were not yet ready so we had to do it manually. The combination of doing things manually and rushing them at the same time was vulnerable to errors, and sadly it happened.

We’ve heard from some of our publishers that they received the wrong reports listing the earnings of sites they do not actually own. We understand the various concerns regarding this, more importantly the privacy side of it. We deeply apologize and we assure you that this will not happen again. We will be re–sending the reports correctly as soon as everything is in place.

All statistical and financial data are in proper order, the problem basically resulted from the reports being sent to the wrong publishers — a very costly one at that.

We understand that these are inexcusable errors and we sincerely apologize to our community. As bloggers, we also understand how you feel about this situation. Please bear with us as we strive to be of better service to you. We are committed to providing better ways for you to get the most out of your blog, and will continue to do that for our local blogging community.

Feel free to leave comments if you have questions you’d like addressed, or you can personally approach Jayvee or Markku for any queries you may have.

Michi Calica, whose name in the fashion world is synonymous to chic bridal gowns and formal wear, created couture bouquets which are flower arrangements especially designed for Mother’s Day celebration.

It’s logical how brides-to-be would seek out advise from a renowned expert, not only for their gowns but every facet of their wedding. And today, in addition to the designer’s couture creations, Calica is also venturing into designing bouquets.

As a mother of three, Michi Calica knows what will please other mothers on this special day. Giving flowers has been done over the years, but this time, Michi Calica adds more flair and sophistication to this tradition as she fuses her creativity and her 10 year designing experience into it. Her special flower arrangements that come in four designs — Sunshine in Summer, Natural Wonders, Sweet Sentiments and Because You’re Special — all convey your heartfelt messages to your mother.

The couture bouquets of Michi Calica are exclusively available through the online shopping portal Express Regalo until the 31st of the month of May and delivers 24/7 anywhere in the Philippines so you can stretch the celebration to a whole month.

Even when you’re abroad, it’s easy to send your mom a one-of-a-kind couture bouquet this Mother’s Day because Express Regalo provides a fast, safe, reliable, convenient and hassle-free way to send your gifts.

This collaboration with Express Regalo is a great way for kids to express their appreciation for their moms on Mother’s Day. It’s an expressive and artistic display of affection that would surely be appreciated by discerning moms across the metro.

To order these designer bouquets by Michi Calica, visit Express Regalo.

Express Regalo is a fast, convenient, reliable, and hassle-free way for Filipinos abroad to shop and send gifts to their loved ones in the Philippines.

Hi folks. There have been inquiries about accessing your account’s payment earnings and stats. We’re very much aware about this and we’re in the process of rolling out a tool which you can access through your dashboard in the next two weeks. One of the reasons why this is taking time is because we’re also figuring out how taxation should work for publishers (should publishers be taxed or should they file for their own taxes?). It’s a little tricky, but we’re getting there.

Also, payments for last month’s campaign are also going to be happening in the next few days. Stay tuned for more updates!

One of the top support requests from our publishers is the issue of using our BlogBank ad code on Blogger–published or Blogspot–hosted sites. Since Day 1, our code does not work in the latest version of Blogger’s publisher tools. But thanks to some creative hacking of Maruel, one of our publishers, we can now use BlogBank on Blogspot!

Here’s a not too short rundown on how to use BlogBank on Blogger/Blogspot sites.

Sign in to your BlogBank publisher account and use “Get Code” to get the ad code for your site. This time, you will see a link for alternate codes specifically for Blogger/Blogspot sites.

Clicking on the link shows you three textboxes, just like the page before it, but with three shorter ad codes. These unique code snippets will be your special code for your site on Blogger/Blogspot.

While signed in inside your Blogger/Google account, you will have the option to modify your layout. One of your choices will be “Add a Page Element:”

You can now choose the type of page element you intend to add.

We need to use the HTML/JavaScript option to insert our BlogBank ad codes.

Choose a descriptive title and paste your BlogBank ad code. You may paste your three unique ad codes in one HTML/JavaScript page element, or you may choose to create separate page elements for each of the three so you may have move them around in your web page layout.

After pasting your code, you should see your new page elements in the layout editor. Save your changes and view your page to see if current ad campaigns are shown correctly. At this point, everything should be all set and you can get back to your writing.

Happy blogging!
